198 Million Voters Exposed Online

For at least 2 weeks a database of US voters was available online. The database contained sensitive PPI. That is bad enough, but here are some statistics to put that in perspective:

There are 324 million people living in the US.

There are 200 million people registered to vote.

How does this affect you?
It appears as though everyone except those under age now have no privacy and everyone’s personal information is most likely public knowledge.
