Another Phishing Attack
As some of you are aware, there is a hacker or group of hackers that has targeted PSAB. They have made their attempt(s) every weekend for the past 4 weeks. That is standard operating procedure for attackers as they try to contact staff when IT may not be available, which, in our case is not an issue as we monitor PSAB activity and requests pretty much 24×7.
Following is this weeks attempt to breach our security. This one looks legitimate, on its face, however two things give it away:
1) If you reply, the reply address goes to the hacker and not to Chris.
2) If you hover over the “View Completed Document” link, you will notice it does not reference Doc U Sign
As always, please continue to use EXTREME caution with Email. Security is a team effort, and PSAB’s IT department is very proud of all staff members and their dedication to helping to keep us safe.
