We are still working out the PSAB office. But, sending checks to PSAB gets confusing. With Mike looking at a partial retirement, we thought it was a good time to begin transitioning to a new address.

PSAB’s Borough News Communications Contest is now accepting nominations for outstanding websites with submissions open through February 13, 2026. This contest recognizes boroughs that demonstrate a strong commitment to their digital presence and community engagement.

Websites are evaluated based on:

• Visual appeal
• Organization
• Relevant and timely information
• Ease of navigation
• Overall functionality

Boroughs are encouraged to nominate themselves or another borough to highlight the important work being done to keep residents informed and connected. Winners will be:

• Announced at the upcoming PSAB Annual Conference
• Featured in the Borough Magazine

Professional Day Exchange.

This year’s Professional Day Exchange brought together professionals from across our community for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration — all centered around the theme of professional and personal growth.

We kicked off the morning with fresh coffee from Nour, fueling great conversations and networking with our wonderful collaborators.

The event gave us a unique opportunity to not only meet the wonderful Course Vector staff who helped reformat our websites, but also connect with some of your other clients and learn about their services. Lunch was also a delicious and added bonus!  Everyone was incredibly welcoming & friendly, as always.

For municipalities recording meetings or small businesses posting informational videos or other audio / visual content, ensuring compliance can seem daunting, but there are straightforward steps and tools that can help.

2. Vook.ai
Vook.ai uses AI to transcribe and create captions. While the service is automated, it provides a good starting point, and you can edit the captions to ensure they meet accessibility standards. This service is often more cost-effective than professional transcription services, making it an excellent option for small businesses or municipalities with tighter budgets.

• Post the meeting agenda on the political subdivision’s website at least 24 hours prior to a meeting, and the agenda must include a list of each matter that may be considered at the meeting.
• A borough council will be limited to consider only the items on the posted agenda, except in limited circumstances such as a genuine emergency or if the council wants to amend the agenda.

These new rules would not apply for conference or executive sessions.
