Chrome Hijacking Scam

It starts with a fake error message. For computer users, this is a vexing problem because the underlying malicious code locks up the browser, after which, it attempts to get the user to call a phone number to help with the “problem.” A similar scam was detected by a staff member several months ago, so we thought we would push this out as a warning.
