Phishing Emails and Email Filter Change

We are getting a lot of phishing Emails today. They are all being picked up as spam. If it is in your spam box and/or marked spam, it is most likely spam. You do not need to notify us about Emails that are marked as spam. We have included a few examples from today’s batch at the end of this post.

Also, we are going to switch the settings on our spam filter. Sometime this week you will stop receiving spam altogether. Instead, you will get a message, approximately every two hours, that lists all of the spam for your Email box from the past two hours. This message will come from PostLayer. The message will contain a two links for each spam message. One link will let you view the message and the other link will deliver the message to you. Please be very careful delivering Email that has been marked as spam as there is usually a very good reason that the message was not delivered in the first place. If you do deliver a spam email and you determine it was actually spam, simply delete the message. If you are unsure, as always, forward the message to the ticketing system and we will review it for you.

If you have any questions, feel free to open a ticket.

Here are two spam phishing messages that were sent to most staff this morning. There are probably others with varying messages:
