Cyber Security Awareness Poster
If you’ve entered information into a website, and then realized it was a scam – don’t panic. Here are a few things to do right away to help protect yourself.
- Change your password(s).
- Call your bank, if the information you entered had to do with your bank account and/or credit card information.
- If you transferred money to a scammer, call the police.
- Put a freeze on your credit report.
- Notify the FTC.
