Cyber security awareness is important now more than ever. Email is a leading cause in security breaches among organizations. Phishing and malware scams are sent daily through email, requiring everyone to think before they click!
- Make sure you have selected the correct recipients. Don’t accidentally send private information to someone who doesn’t need it.
- Make sure the emails you receive and interact with are truly from a trusted source. Many phishing scammers will spoof email addresses to make you think it’s from someone you trust.
- Do not click on suspicious links! Clicking email links from untrusted sources can install malware onto your computer and/or trick you into giving information to criminals.
