It happens to the best of us. Here are a few things you should do right away if you’ve clicked on a phishing link.

  1. If you suspect that there is malware on your device, disconnect it from the network.
  2. Back up your data to prevent it from being erased.
  3. Do a thorough malware scan.
  4. Change your password(s).
  5. Notify the FTC.
