G Suite Users Passwords Stored Unencrypted

G-Suite customers from 2005 through 2019 may have passwords that were stored unencrypted. While the passwords were stored on an encrypted server, the passwords themselves were stored in plain text. Only enterprise-level customers were affected by this security flaw.

Google has since reset passwords on accouts that have not been reset by users. Additionally, Google asserts that there was no evidence of improper access to the passwords.

However if you use the same or a similar password for G Suite and other websites, it is a good idea to change the password in all the places it was used.
