Sites Blocked in Internet Explorer
Microsoft’s web browser, Edge, was launched in 2015 as the company’s replacement for the dated Internet Explorer (IE). It’s been a long time coming, but Internet Explorer will no longer be supported as of August 17, 2021. In an attempt to get users to switch to Edge, Microsoft will block hundreds of sites from being viewed on Internet Explorer.
How to View the Blocked Sites
To view the blocked sites, users will need to download and use Microsoft Edge instead. If users (or websites) are attached to Internet Explorer, there is an option to enable Internet Explorer mode in Edge. It is unlikely that Microsoft will allow the IE workaround indefinitely, so it may be better to upgrade or work with another browser.
